The warmth of Big Ma’s extends beyond the food. Reviewers often mention the heartfelt hospitality, with staff like Jessica making every visit feel special. It's amazing how a place is absolutely magnificent!!! Jessica is all around the best!!!! KK makes ice cream like my mom had made it. I drive from East Dublin just to eat at Big Ma's every Friday.
I came in with the clean up crew in October. I can truly say, these people were so kind . Everyone was so nice to us. And everywhere i stopped to eat it was great. Thanks so much for your hospitality, yall ware wonderful. We will miss ya'll
Everything is always good. We get burgers or a sandwich of some kind whenever we get take out from here. On this occasion, the only downfall was that our sandwich toppings were all incorrect. My burger was missing most of what I requested, mainly the ketchup and mayo, which I fortunately was at home and was able to add it myself. We had very few fries in our box, so maybe they were short on fries, and what was there was not cooked well and could have been a little crispier. They are still doing a great job, considering they are new owners and still trying to learn the ropes. This minor issue won't keep us from ordering in the future.
Wonderful home cooked southern food. Met Big Ma and I felt the love she has for cooking and sharing. Felt like I was transported back in time to my grandmother‘s house with a pitcher of sweet tea already on the table. Everyone was friendly and the price was excellent. I am not a buffet person but this is definitely an exception and worth the experience. We will try to stop by on our way back home.
Laid back, all you can eat, stuff your face as full as you can! They keep the crab legs coming! Nothing crazy and fancy her, just good ol folks with great food. The buffet has very good choices..my favorite is the broiled fish! And I can't say enough about the crab legs!!! They are full of meat and a great size!!!! It's off the beaten path, but we'll worth the drive!
So my husband and I have been wanting crab legs for weeks. So we had looked up Big Ma’s on line and saw it wasn’t too far to get crab legs. So we went and it was delicious. I’ve been to places that have crab legs but not a good cook. The crab legs were cooked perfectly. I bent my leg and it cracked perfectly- my meat pulled out in one piece like it should. I was delighted!!! Some may think it’s expensive- it was $105 and change for the two of us but it was worth it!!! I took a picture of my first bucket of crab legs but I didn’t get a picture of the buffet. They did have some homemade ice cream.
Very good service, food is excellent, inexpensive menu, you get your money's worth. All in one shop from feed and seed, gas, convenient store, restaurant and on the side a happening bar. very good atmosphere.
